About Jake

Jake Parker Wymard is an emerging Hunter/Jumper professional with a background in the Hunter, Jumper and Equitation rings at the national level. However, his upbringing on a breeding and training farm has also brought him extensive experience in training and showing green horses.

As a professional, Jake has qualified and competed at Washington, Harrisburg, The National Horse Show and Devon. As a junior, Jake was chosen for the USHJA’s Emerging Athlete Program two years in a row and qualified and competed at all major equitation finals, including the ASPCA Maclay Final Championships and Dover Saddlery/USEF Hunter Seat Medal Final—catch riding mounts at both championships in 2018.

In 2019, Jake received the prestigious Elizabeth Solter Emerging Athlete Award, for demonstrating the enthusiasm, work ethic and aptitude necessary for success as a horseman.

In 2021, Jake made his Grand Prix jumper debut on Hat Trick—who was also making his Grand Prix debut.
